I want to share with you the terrible experience and ordeal I had with GEICO, after totaling my car. It turns out I was only going to get 72 hours car rental even having full coverage and I found out that because I did not have the GAP Insurance I was still obligated to pay the balance remaining after GEICO paid for my vehicle which the amount did not cover the financing. So all of the money for my car went to the finance company, over 00. , but in this process of rule waking I also discovered the umbrella policy, a policy I will no longer be without. I hope this experience will not happen to you. I like to look at this as each one teaches one. And now you have been the warned. So Let It Be Written, So Let It Be Done?.
