A Kindle is already a great reading device, but if you want to get a little more out of it, blogger Matthew Petroff shows off a hack that turns a Kindle into a simple useful weather display.
The hack uses a jailbroken Kindle, and a home server to create the display. The end result is a great looking weather display that you can mount to a wall to keep up to date on upcoming weather. The process has a few steps, but you can find the source code and a guide to setting it up for yourself over on Matthew Petroff's blog.
