SpaceX Dragon cargo ship splashes down in Pacific Ocean

The privately owned spacecraft returned to Earth Thursday from the International Space Station

The SpaceX?Dragon supply ship returned to Earth on Thursday, ending its revolutionary nine-day voyage to the International Space Station with an old-fashioned splashdown in the Pacific.

The unmanned capsule parachuted into the ocean about 500 miles off Mexico's Baja California, bringing back more than a half-ton of old station equipment. It was the first time since the space shuttles stopped flying last summer that NASA got back a big load from the orbiting lab.

Thursday's dramatic arrival of the world's first commercial cargo carrier capped a test mission that was virtually flawless, beginning with the May 22 launch aboard the SpaceX company's Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral and continuing through the space station docking three days later and the departure a scant six hours before it hit the water.

"Launch, docking, reentry and recovery successful," SpaceX's billionaire founder, Elon Musk, said in a statement provided by the company. "Welcome home, baby."

The returning bell-shaped Dragon resembled NASA's Mercury, Gemini and Apollo spacecraft of the 1960s and 1970s, yet symbolizes the future for American space travel. Musk aims to launch the next supply mission in September under a steady contract with NASA, and says astronauts can be riding Dragons to and from the space station in as little as three or four years.

Musk said in a tweet from the company's Mission Control in Hawthorne, Calif., that the next version of the capsule will land with "helicopter precision."

A fleet of boats was in position and quickly moved in to retrieve the bobbing Dragon.

The SpaceX?Dragon represents NASA's future as laid out by President Barack Obama. He wants routine orbital flights turned over to private business so the space agency can work on getting astronauts to asteroids and Mars. Toward that effort, NASA has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in seed money to vying companies.

NASA astronauts are now forced to hitch rides on Russian rockets from Kazakhstan, an extremely expensive and embarrassing outsourcing, especially after a half-century of manned launches from U.S. soil. It will be up to SpaceX or another U.S. enterprise to pick up the reins; several companies are jockeying for first place.

Romney wins more than 100 delegates on big night

(AP) ? Mitt Romney has won more than 100 delegates while clinching the Republican nomination for president.

The former Massachusetts governor claimed 105 of the 152 delegates at stake in the Texas primary Tuesday, pushing him well past the number needed to win the nomination to take on President Barack Obama.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul, who stopped campaigning in primaries but is still accumulating delegates, won 18. The rest were sprinkled among candidates who dropped out of the race weeks or even months ago.

Texas awarded delegates in proportion to the statewide vote. Candidates could win a delegate with as little as 0.4 percent of the vote.

Romney has 1,191 delegates. It takes 1,144 delegates to win the nomination at the party's national convention in August.

NHL star Nicklas Lidstrom retires after 20 seasons

(AP) ? Defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom retired Thursday after 20 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, ending one of the best careers in NHL history.

The four-time Stanley Cup champion and seven-time Norris Trophy winner fought back tears as he made the announcement.

"My drive and motivation are not where to need to be to play at this level," Lidstrom said.

The 42-year-old Lidstrom, a Swede, played for the Red Wings in each of his 20 seasons and set an NHL record by playing 1,564 games with one team. He put retirement on hold in each of the previous two years by signing one-year contracts.

"I've been dreading this day since I became manager in 1997," Red Wings general manager Ken Holland said.

Lidstrom had 34 points and a plus-21 rating that ranked among the league leaders last season. He missed a career-high 11 games with a bruised right ankle and was out for another game with the flu. He had 264 career goals with 1,142 points and a 450-plus rating.

"Retiring today allows me to walk away with pride, rather than have the game walk away from me," said Lidstrom, whose oldest of four sons moved to Sweden two years ago to attend school and play hockey.

Lidstrom was named the NHL's best defenseman last year for a seventh time, matching Doug Harvey's total and trailing Bobby Orr's record by one. When Lidstrom won his final Norris Trophy last summer, he was a finalist for the 11th time in 13 seasons.

The four-time Olympian also scored the gold-medal winning goal for Sweden over Finland in 2006. He became the first European-born captain to win a Stanley Cup in 2008, six years after being the first from Europe to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoffs MVP.

His 6-foot-2, 190-pound body is chiseled thanks to a year-round workout that includes exercise before practice and after games along with a sensible diet that includes only occasional slices of pizza and fast food. Lidstrom's teammates call him "The Perfect Human," in part because he's as humble as he is successful on the ice.

"It's one of the most emotional days in Red Wings history with Nick retiring and all you people showing your respect for such a high-quality individual," Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch said at a packed news conference that included a slew of team employees wearing Lidstrom's No. 5 red jersey with a winged wheel.

Moments still fresh in my mind

We all have those moments which we wish shouldn?t have been occurred in our life. It is some of the embarrassing moment which we love to forget but we can?t. I decided to frame it and share it with other readers and encourage them to laugh over it rather than be guilty. Here is the list of some of the most embarrassing things which I ever did in my life.

?

  1. It was the Auto Expo show in Dubai and it was one of the best I ever witnessed. There I saw a BMW placed over a deck. I was there with my friends and we were not allowed to enter the deck and click pictures. The moment the volunteer?turned and went to the other side, I sleeked in it and sat on the driver?s seat but as my friends were supposed to click the picture I saw the volunteer coming and the expression on my face was clicked by my friends. It was the most embarrassing moment but it was real funny.

?

  1. I remember once asking my mother?s friend one of my aunties about when her baby is due and she gave me weird look before replying that she conceived a month before. I just couldn?t see her face to face and I was just wondering why I didn?t notice her before popping the question. Henceforth I decided to check the stats before I open my mouth.

?

  1. This time it was at Panoramic resort Karnala, we were there enjoying a night out with family and relatives under the Pancard Clubs Investment scheme. We were having a great time and there we befriended another family enjoying the outing under the same investment scheme. There I had to happen tell a lady, who was just married in to the family, about some food particulars left over her lips. It happened to be her mustache which appeared to be very flashy at that time. It was funny though but after I realized it I never went in front of their family.

?

  1. This was the epic and it actually created a lot of happenings in my life. There was a new couple in my building and I met them at society function. After our initial meeting I became close to them. The only problem was I refer to the guy as uncle and the lady as sister. It was not intentional but it was what I felt when I?m with them. Once in a public meeting when I called them uncle and sister, the guests asked me in front of them about why this bias among them. I was more shocked than embarrassed after hearing this. Other people, including the person later laughed it off. Still I?ve been calling them the way I used to do.

?

This whole experiencing of penning down this experience had me smiling since morning. I hope that the people whom I mentioned in this experience don?t mind and laugh it off like I?m doing

Rock of Ages Set Visit Report

Rock-of-Ages-movie-image-logo-slice

Tom Cruise is standing in the center of the stage.? He?s shirtless, wearing black jeans with long black hair and painted black nails.? His back has a huge bird like tattoo with longs wings that stretch from shoulder to shoulder.? Along his midsection and sides, he?s got a number of smaller tattoos.? In front of him are 1,500 screaming fans.? As the camera zooms in closer to the stage, the music starts and the crowd erupts in to cheers.? All of a sudden, I realize he?s singing ?Pour Some Sugar on Me? by Def Leppard, and he?s moving around the stage like he?s been there for years.? In only a few moments, I believe Tom Cruise is a rock star, and I?m completely sold on director Adam Shankman?s Rock of Ages.

Let me back up a second.

As I type these words, it?s August 13, 2011 and I spent last night on? Los Angeles? Sunset Strip in 1987.? However, since that?s filming on the real strip and dressing it up in 1987 culture would be beyond expensive and impractical for a huge movie, Warner Bros. recreated the strip on a few streets in Miami.? And based on what I got to see and hear last night, Rock of Ages looks like it?s absolutely captured the 80s in a really fun way.? Hit the jump for so much more.

Before going any further, if you haven?t seen the recent trailer, I?d watch that first:

Video Blog

Shortly after getting back to the hotel last night, I recorded a video blog about the set visit with Amy from Myspace and Jamie from IAmRogue.? We talked about the amazing sets, the interviews, what we thought, how excited Adam Shankman was, and so much more.? All three of us were very impressed when we left the set.? Further down is more.

tom-cruise-Rock-of-Ages-movie-image20 Things to Know About Rock of Ages

-? Rock of Ages takes place in 1987

- The movie isn?t making fun of the era.? They?re playing it straight.

- They filmed in Florida.

- Shankman said he wanted to make a musical that straight men would want to see.

- Shankman said the Rock of Ages budget was the same budget as Hairspray. He had to cut 40 million to get it made.

russell-brand-Rock-of-Ages-movie-image- Alec Baldwin is the reason Rock of Ages got in front of cameras.? Apparently, Baldwin is known as ?Dr. No? because he always says no to everything.? When he said yes to the project, WB told Shankman to make it work, and then Shankman rushed to get it in front of the cameras.

- The Sunset Strip set they built in Miami was amazing.? It was truly like being transported back in time.? When though it looks like it must have taken four months to bring it to life, we learned it only took half that time.

- It was a huge undertaking to get all the legal clearances for the movie. Anything that couldn?t get cleared, the production would build something similar but different enough so they could use it. An example is the Marlboro Man: His billboard used to be on the strip.? However you can?t advertise cigarettes in a movie, so they built a billboard featuring a guy that looks like him, but he?s advertising being a cowboy or something like that.

julianne-hough-Rock-of-Ages-movie-image- There are 23 songs in the movie, a few of them are originals, and some are medleys of two songs mixed together.? Desmond Child, who wrote many of the big songs of the 80?s, wrote or co-wrote the original songs.

- There are three primary locations in the movie: the Sunset Strip, The Bourbon Room and the Venus Club.

- They have over 70 ?picture cars.?, i.e. era-appropriate cars being used in the movie.

- All the singers in the movie are using their own voices.? Even Tom Cruise.

- On the vintage bus they have old movie banner ads.? One side of the bus had The Lost Boys while the other had Little Shop of Horrors.

julianne-hough-image-Rock-of-Ages- They?re shooting using digital cameras, specifically the ARRI Alexa.? Shankman told us that while it was a learning curve for everyone, he?s been blown away by the ability of the camera to film at night with almost no light.

- Everything on the Strip has been moved closer together.? The production made a list of every bar, nightclub, and real world location they wanted to use, and then put them next to one another.? It?s like they took all the commercial buildings and restaurants off the strip, and what was left is the Rock of Ages strip.? It worked; the set was amazing, and it captured the essence of the strip.

- The movie and the stage musical are different.? Shankman decided to focus on the lead character rather than a side character, and instead of a club being sold, the movie is about censorship, which was a real issue back in the 80?s with Tipper Gore and the Parents Music Resource Center.

tom-cruise-Rock-of-Ages-image- Tom Cruise surprised everyone with the way he was able to learn his choreography, and also with how hard he worked.? Shankman said he?s spend hours answering Cruise?s questions, and he was like a sponge always trying to learn.? Also, Cruise never gets tired and never slows down.

- Most of the main cast did 5 weeks of intense rehearsals before shooting began.? They called it ?Rock Star College?. They did vocal, dance and guitar work.

- Shankman isn?t afraid to show visiting journalists unfinished footage in his trailer.? After doing an extremely honest interview, he led us into his trailer and showed us Tom Cruise singing ?Pour Some Sugar on Me? and another sequence with Mary J. Blige inside the Venus Club.? Both sequences looked great, and even the unfinished Cruise sequence caused normally-jaded journalists to applause.? Trust me, you won?t believe how Cruise looks and sounds in Rock of Ages.? After seeing the footage, I wanted to watch the entire movie then and there.

rock-of-ages-julianne-hough-diego-boneta- When we showed up on set last night, I wasn?t sure what we?d see.? Would the production have built a theater, or converted a music venue into what they needed?? Whatever I thought beforehand, the actual set was infinitely better.

- One of my favorite parts of the set was the Tower Records store.? Until a few years ago when it went out of business, the Tower Records on the Strip was as much a part of Los Angeles as palm trees and the Coffee Bean.? Getting to see the store come back to life, with vintage album covers by Kiss, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Cinderella, and many others on the outside of the building, was a lot of fun.? Also, while the store wasn?t real on the inside, the front door was open and they had a basic setup that would look real for the camera.? It was great to see albums and other vintage posters when the doors were open between takes.

- Of course the Tower Records wasn?t the only store on the set, and the production also built The Comedy Store, Guitar Center, The Body Shop, Frederick?s of Hollywood, Trashy Lingerie, Carney?s, the Rainbow Room, Filthy McNasty?s, and so many other places.? In addition, with the movie taking place in ?87, they made sure to include another famous Angeleno: Angelyne (read about her here).? The production actually built a massive billboard of the busty blond, and she overlooks the strip like she did back in the ?80?s.? It?s the little touches like this that demonstrated how much love and care went into bringing the past to life.

rock-of-ages-alec-baldwin-russell-brand-julianne-hough- I think anyone who ever walked the Strip in the 80?s is going to love Rock of Ages and experience some serious nostalgia.

- I really can?t say enough about the footage I saw of Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx.? Trust me, it?s going to blow you away.

- In director Adam Shankman?s Rock of Ages, Cruise plays the biggest rock star on the planet and he?s about to start playing his farewell show with his band Arsenal before he does a solo project.

Final Thoughts

As you saw in the video blog, I?ve got a lot of enthusiasm for Rock of Ages.? While I knew very little about the movie before the set visit, everything I saw and learned tells me this musical is going to be a big hit for Warner Bros. next year.? It?s got an amazing cast and a soundtrack that I can?t wait to hear.? I never thought I?d have written that last sentence before visiting the set.? Wait until you see Cruise sing ?Pour Some Sugar on Me?.? You?ll be impressed.

For more on Rock of Ages, here?s my on set interviews with the cast and over twenty behind-the-scenes pictures I took while walking around set:

J. Kelly Conklin: Who Represents Small Business Matters

Who really represents small business? It is a loaded question in this election season. Every politician embraces "small business" and depending on the policy in question chooses his or her position based on what some organization or other tells them helps small business.

How we define small business has a lot to do with what actually helps, what doesn't do much at all and what actually hurts small businesses. So when a national organization like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce or the NFIB gets substantial and repeated support from big businesses, you should wonder who they are actually representing.

It is a rare event indeed that has an actual small business owner standing next to a politician saying, "This will help me because... " That may be because the folks doing the representing are worried about what we might say.

I see small business from the perspective of my own 35-year-old enterprise. How I got into business, how I have survived (mostly my own inadequacies) and now, as I near the end of my career, what I think it has amounted to, shapes my perspective and therefore what I think about the important issues of the day. That perspective rarely coincides with the big business agenda and that is where a universal definition might help clear a few things up.

I am not alone in my little enterprise. My wife and partner has been right beside me, sometimes helping feed a sheet of plywood through the saw, so to speak -- and sometimes screaming, "Stop, you f-ing idiot!" And together we have had a lot of help from an army of employees. Today, we are 10; in better times, we were 15.

Here's the thing: I could be an auto mechanic like my friend Jim, or I might own an aircraft parts and supply business like my friend Henry, or maybe I could own a dry cleaning shop like my neighbor John or a bakery like my lifelong friend (and the first "out" gay person I ever knew) Marge. It just so happens we make stuff out of wood. While we may not all share the same political ideology, we all do have one thing in common: every day we get up, leave home and head to our respective enterprises. That is how we survive and hopefully prosper.

Most of us work in concert with our employees to produce a product; some work alone. What we earn comes from that effort and this fundamental concept -- earning your way -- is what animates and informs the idea of small business for most Americans.

Don't get me wrong. The same definition applies to a small law firm or a doctor's office, an architect or an artist. The key here is the person with the "buck stops here" sign on their desk, the person who opens the door first thing in the morning and locks it behind them at the end of the day, the person who signs the paychecks, finds the next job or client and takes the call when things don't go as planned, is who we imagine when we think "small business owner." They are our friends and our neighbors and for millions of people across America, our employers. Their stock is not traded on Wall Street and they are not answerable to share holders or equity financiers. They answer only to their customers, their employees, their community and themselves.

With increasing frequency that image, that definition, is distorted and mangled in the white hot cauldron of American politics, in state capitols across the country and especially in Washington, D.C. Too often, that means real help for real small businesses is an illusion, an empty promise -- and real harm to us is a consequence.

I'd like to use posts on this blog to reduce the distortion by putting policy ideas within the context of my experience. Hopefully, that will help clarify what's really good for everyday small businesses, and what's not.

So here goes: health care, education, money in politics, immigration policy and the environment -- there is plenty to talk about. Stay tuned.

Use of stun guns increases injuries

The police use of stun guns increases the risk of injuries for those on the receiving end, but tends to increase officer safety, according to the most comprehensive study of such devices to date.

But when officers use stun guns in conjunction with other restraint methods, they also face an increase risk of injury.

Those are the conclusions of two joint studies from the University of Central Florida and Michigan State University recently published in the journals, Justice Quarterly and Police Quarterly.

The studies looked at injuries associated with conducted energy devices , also known as stun guns. CEDs produce an electrical charge up to 50,000 volts and can be deployed by pressing the device against a person or by shooting two probed darts at a person from a distance. The charge temporarily immobilizes individuals. Their use has been controversial because of some reported deaths following the use of stun guns, as well as their use on vulnerable citizens such as pregnant women, the elderly, and children.

The UCF/MSU team analyzed nearly 14,000 incidents from seven agencies in their studies. Of those, CEDs were used in more than 2,600 cases.

"The bottom line is there in an increased risk to citizens," said Gene Paoline a UCF associate professor of criminal justice and one of the authors of the studies. "On the other hand, the devices increase the safety of officers when used as the sole method of restraint. In essence, we have to consider the costs of citizen harm versus benefits of officer safety. It is something for police agencies to weigh when setting up policies on their use, or whether or not to even use them at all. CEDs may not be the silver bullet some make them out to be."

The use of CEDs has been increasing since the late 1970s. A 2008 study by the National Institute of Justice reported that roughly 11,500 law enforcement agencies have CEDs, with approximately 260,000 in use.

Studies in the past have shown that the use of CEDs was safer because more forceful methods were avoided, such as using a gun. But those who question such findings, such as Paoline and colleagues, point out that injuries weren't correctly being counted in many of those studies. They contend that a suspect's lacerations, burns and abrasions that are the result of the discharge of the device should be counted as injuries. Others say that those minor injuries should not be counted because they are an expected outcome of the weapon.

"An injury is an injury," he said. "If we count a laceration from hand cuffing, or a bruise from a baton, we have to do the same for the CED."

The team's research showed that citizens were injured 41 percent of the time when CEDs were used as the only type of force and 47 percent of the time when CEDs were used in conjunction with another form of force. That compares to people being injured 29 percent of the time when no CEDs were used.

Collaborators on the studies include: Michigan State University associate professor William Terrill and Illinois State University assistant professor Jason Ingram. The National Institute of Justice funded the studies, which looked at use of all less-than lethal-force.

Paoline joined UCF in 2001. He has multiple degrees including a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, State University of New York. His research specialty focuses on policing and theoretical development in criminal justice. He is the author of Rethinking Police Culture (2001, LFB Scholarly Publishing), and a frequent presenter at conferences on the topics of police use of force, police culture, and the occupational attitudes of criminal justice personnel.

Westchester, N.Y. teen missing since last Friday

Courtesy of the Crowley family

Missing 15-year-old Pierce Crowley.

By msnbc.com staff

A?teenager from Westchester County, N.Y., has been missing since last Friday and was "in a fragile state" when he was last seen, his concerned parents said.

Police say?Pierce Crowley, 15, of Rye, N.Y.,?left New York-Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, N.Y. with a close friend before he went missing.

In an email to friends, his parents?wrote that their son was ?in a fragile state? and hadn't been feeling well when he disappeared. "It is URGENT that we?locate him ASAP," they wrote,?according to the New York's Hudson Valley Journal News.

It's not clear what Crowley was in the hospital for. The White Plains medical center is one of the top psychiatric hospitals in the nation.

According to police, Crowley's friend came forward to say the two left the hospital and went to The Cheesecake Factory restaurant together, Newsday reported.

The two then took a cab to the White Plains Metro-North train station, the report said. Crowley's friend took a train to New York City while Crowley stayed behind in the cab.

Actress Aruna Shields Interview | Celebrities Gossip | Hollywood ...

InterviewAruna Shields?recently gave an?exclusive interview?to the media and below is an extract of this interview. Aruna Shields says that Bollywood is indeed a complex mystery and to know why she think so, we invite you to read the interview below.

Tell us about your new film MR SINGH MRS MEHTA
MR SINGH MRS MEHTA which releases on June 25 is the directorial debut of Pravesh Bhardwaj who has assisted directors like Shyam Benegal and Gulzar and is produced by Medient. Set in London, MR SINGH MRS MEHTA is the story of Ashwin Mehta and Neera Singh who find that their spouses are having an affair. Drawn together by shame and anger, they find comfort in their growing friendship even as they resolve not to be like their unfaithful mates.

How do you view this whole issue of extramarital affairs which have become now so common in the modern society?

I don?t agree with affairs as they cause pain and secrets in relationships?but people will always have them and for a variety of usually selfish and complicated reasons: Neglect, insecurity, boredom, midlife crisis, weakness, excitement, stupidity, loneliness, revenge. Neera has her affair out of loneliness, despair and confusion. Also her conscience is relieved because she knows her husband is also cheating on her! Every relationship is different and it?s hard not to judge. Nobody is perfect. To make your relationship less vulnerable to an affair you really have to communicate, not take your partner for granted and respect each other.

What is you role in the film MR SINGH MRS MEHTA?

I play Neera Singh, a girl from small town who is an agony aunt columnist who advices others on their relationship and discovers that her husband is cheating on her. It?s a film about relationships.

From desi bond girl to an agony aunt that?s quite a jump in the range of role.

From a high action film like PRINCE to a film based purely on relationships, you can say that it has been quiet a jump. I?ve been blessed to have done a variety of different roles so early on in my career. I?ve played everything from femme fatale, girl next door, action hero to working class, even animalistic tribal woman. Even so, roles are easier to get when they are closer to what you actually are, because that?s how you?re perceived. Otherwise you have to work hard changing yourself and making it believable. Plus you?re competing with other actors who naturally are that type with no effort. You can do it, I?ve done it but it takes preparation.

It?s difficult changing your voice and physicality but extremely rewarding when the hard work pays off. You need good observational skills so you can watch how different people behave. Having intuition, spontaneity and trusting your choices is also important and has helped me a lot.

How did you get the part?

Pravesh was meeting actors from my agency at Pinewood studios and asked to see me. We met and we clicked. We went through sections of the script together. We communicated ideas about the script fluidly. Many actresses could have played my role and interpreted it in their way? but looking back I think I was chosen because I listened carefully to the director and we got on so well. He sensed I was very relaxed, laid back and relatively low maintenance which means less headaches and dramas for him. He knew I would work extremely hard and get the job done.

Tell us more about your character Neera Singh

Neera is evolving throughout the story. At the beginning she?s a young innocent, naive girl who has recently got married and is besotted by her husband. As she discovers he is cheating on her, her world is shattered and her journey of self-discovery begins. Her ideals and life philosophy are challenged throughout. She eventually has her own affair, later she allows herself to be a muse and painted naked ?and in doing grows in confidence, her body language changes and she becomes more extroverted. She blossoms into an independent woman who can take on the world.

Do you relate to a character like Neera?

I related to Neera on many levels going back to when I was an insecure teenager, remembering and transferring those experiences in my own life which changed me. Remembering my behaviour and thought processes when I had been hurt in relationships. I often used subtle physicality to express her feelings.

Working in hindi language must have been difficult.

Yes it was. The words are not important to me? it is the feelings behind the words which count. But in order to allow emotions to flow you can?t be fishing for lines as it takes you out of the moment?so I had a HUGE task making sure I knew lines extremely well.

How was it working with an intense actor like Prashant Narayanan.

Prashant has a great personality, he?s always laughing and happy and his positive energy is infectious. He is a great laugh, is down to earth and loads of fun. I will always remember on our last day we went driving in the Welsh countryside with the roof down at night. We took it in turns to stand up and scream Hindi words. Usually the ones I stuffed up on.

What has been your experience working in Bollywood so far?

What I love about Bollywood is it?s energy and life. Mumbai has an strangely addictive quality and even though you?re hot and bothered when you?re there?.when you leave you miss it?s craziness. Everywhere you look there is a mini drama going on which is intriguing to watch. I have friends who have emigrated from England to Mumbai and when they come back to the UK they feel like they are entering utopia, everything runs smoother, however after a couple of weeks they get fidgety and bored.

My understanding of Bollywood is that it is The Matrix? a complex mystery, I have no idea why things happen the way they do and everything runs at a much faster pace. Everything is constantly changing?including scripts!!! I think I learnt 9 versions of PRINCE, last minute. I try to look on the bright side?it?s good for the mind. Also I?m too busy learning lines so it keeps me out of trouble.

Any plans of making Mumbai your base?

I?m so proud to have had the opportunity to work in the incredible world of Bollywood cinema, and at such a high level. Depending on the scripts I will continue to consider work offers from India. Even so, I?m not a Bollywood actor but an international actor and would like to remain so. This means I have management in different countries (England, America, France and India) Regarding shifting base to one place, this is difficult because of the nature of my work. I?m a bit like a gypsy and travel all over. Maybe I will settle one day, I?ll go with the flow and see what happens.

What are the other projects you are working on?

It?s exciting times and I have the starring lead in studio feature film called AO THE LAST NEANDERTHAL releasing in September. It?s a gritty beauty and the beast love story based 30,000 years ago.
