Alec Baldwin appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night, and no shouting or shoving took place.

Instead, the actor mostly joked about his much-publicized encounter with a photographer on Monday, commenting on the front page of The New York Daily News and explaining that his mouth appears to be making an "F" sound.

What could he possibly be uttering in that frozen moment? A question about the F Stop on the camera, of course, Baldwin said. That's obvious. What other word could be coming out of his mouth?
