Why will the night of March 26 be different from all other nights?? Because on this night, there will be a Passover second night Seder at Temple Shearith Israel in Ridgefield.
In the spirit of community and tradition, Temple Shearith Israel (TSI) is hosting a Second Seder on Tuesday, March 26 at 6 pm. Led by Rabbi Eric Eisenkramer and Cantor Deborah Katchko-Gray, the event is being promoted as ?Spend the Second Seder with your Second Family.?
The family-style dinner will be catered by Chef Brian Bender of The Cutting Board Caf? of Ridgefield. ?Along with the traditional foods, the evening will be filled with music and meaning.
?We?re truly looking forward to restoring an old tradition ? a family seder at TSI ? and creating a new one,? said Karen Taylor, Chair of the event.? ?The evening promises to be uplifting and engaging for participants of all ages.? Best of all, you leave all the work to us, and just get to recline and enjoy a wonderful meal with your family and friends.?
Attendees are invited to bring their own traditional items to the event, including seder plates, kiddush cups, or even pillows.?? The cost for the seder is $40 per adult, $20 for children ages 5-12, and children under age 5 are free. Reservations should be made as soon as possible.?
